God KNOWS; God IS; God DOES

“Each of the divine perfections is in its turn for our consolation and edification. Omnipotence protects, mercy forgives, faithfulness preserves, omniscience searches us.” -Plumer

Psalm 139 is a song full of the wonders of God,

including his omniscience (God knows),

his omnipresence (God is), and

his omnipotence (God does).

From this psalm, we learn to be humble, to love God, to fight against our sin, and to follow God wherever he leads us.
