WHAT Should We Do?

WHAT should our church be doing? (What is the Plan, Jesus?)

PROBLEMS:

-About 40 million adults in America today used to go to church but no longer do. This is more than 15% of the population of our country.

-Gallup polling has tracked American religious membership for 80 years. For the first time ever in those 8 decades, now more adults in the U.S. do NOT attend church than attend church.

-Hinds County: of the 232,239 residents, there are 168,439 who are unchurched. That is 72% of our county.

-Families are busier than ever. The internet and technology, including your phone, have changed us. Our faith tradition is no longer interesting or trusted in our culture. Christians are seen by some elements of our society as evil.

Changes have happened at Raymond Road. Not what it used to be.

WHAT should our church be doing?

Our mission has not changed! Make disciples. Baptize. Teach. Love God. Love others.
